4) Mania. And either a request or by messing about. the A-S-S-P couple's logo was basically made by cutting apart and transforming one base shape o-o
5) Logo design is an art of itself and there's more than enough people that can live off of that. And some beginning or mid-level artists may still need something to watermark their stuff and all~
