I've been working steadily on my two commissions. The drafts are finished, but I've been procrastinating on editing them. Because of the length of these commissions, I've struggled with time management. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the way these stories are turning out.

Taking a Break

Last week, I've been experiencing some intestinal discomfort as a result of some bleeding ulcers. Suffice to say, I wasn't in a very good mood. Add some liquor and insomnia into the mix, and you have a real sourpuss. I'm in a perpetual state of indifference, which isn't depression, but it depresses me that I'm having trouble getting out of my funk. I'm going to take a step back from writing in general. The motivation simply isn't there at the moment. I can't write one sentence without doubting myself. Then when I hit the bottle, I end up writing something that I shouldn't have. I look at what my drunken self wrote, and I end up having to go through a lot of editing and excuses. So yes, I'm taking a break.

Some Good News

I've finalized an agreement with someone who's going to pay me for exclusive rights to my future stories. As part of the deal, the stories will be voice-narrated. It's definitely something that I want to be a part of, and I think that my +watchers will appreciate it. The website my work will be on doesn't have a title yet, but I will let you all know the name of the site and when my stories will go live. Originally there was discussion to have some of my older work become exclusives on his site, but I don't want to take away the stories I've written for my FA peeps.
