Well, I'm back from my vacation! :D I'm sure not many here knew I was gone . . . because I've got the memory of an octogenarian and totally forgot to mention it over here. It was super nice, though. We went to the beach, and the worst thing that happened was that as I was frolicking in the surf, I apparently ran into a jellyfish xD That was a bit painful, but I walked away from it (ie: jumped/swam/limped/flailed). I was super graceful about it, as you can imagine.

Ahem.

Ooooh, and now I have a tan! :D People no longer shield their eyes as the drive down the street. Always a definite plus.

Anywho, I've got a lot of stuff to work on this summer. My to-do list is kind of huge xD Lots of writing and art projects, as well as career-related ones. I'm giving voice/piano/art lessons this summer, and I just found out that I'll be directing a middle school choir next year :D I'm super excited, but kind of terrified lol. At least I'm moving up in the world and getting closer to my ultimate career goal: teaching at a college.

As far as art and writing, I'm working with a friend on her kid's book, designing my brother's album cover, and then various other things for people here and there. Also this summer, I have every intention of writing a novel (sort of my own NaNoWriMo thing xD) in addition to teaming up with a couple of other fan fiction writers to do some FMA fics.

The madness never ends. And I guess that's how I like it lol.

So I'm off to respond to comments that have accumulated in my absence and construct the mother of all to-do lists. Wish me luck xD Hopefully I'll be a bit more active around here with some art! That would be peachy, wouldn't it? ;D
