Got surgery
Got surgery yesterday. They cut a hole behind my ear and apparently there was a ton more infection then expected so he went to work draining it all out. Then they put a tube in my eardrum AND a tube in the hole they cut behind my ear. My head is all wrapped up and I'm on pain meds. I have to keep the wrap on till Monday and he will take out the tube behind my ear and stitch it up.
...all I have to say since waking up this morning is....it hurts...bad :( I can feel it right through the narcotic pain meds. So needless to say looks like mew will be bedridden at least until tomorrow maybe even Monday.

Three days of pain TO SAVE YOUR LIFE
Is pretty well worth it.
And hey, it might only be till tomorrow.
But in the end, its finally almost over. :3
And hey, hopefully its a known antibiotic or infection.
Because if not it will be named after you like a baby!!!!! Oh noes!!
XD but I have faith that tou will pull through
I'm needing something to do, so.. Why won't you suggest a pokémon for me to draw traditionally. I need to keep myself busy that i could get the unwanted feeling off from my mind...

that sketch under it is left on a purpose, and due to my pc problems and such, it's done fully traditionally.

I hope you feel better soon
Hope you get well soon! *Gives a hug*
It wasn't just the cat though the main culprit was the insurance company. After antibiotics didn't work the first 2 times they were going to put a tube in my ear but my insurance wouldn't approve it for 2 weeks. By the time 2 weeks came around my eardrum was too thick to put a tube in since it got worse. Then I needed a CT scan and the insurance wouldn't approve THAT for 2 weeks. And in that time the infection moved and turned into Mastoiditis. After it was mastoiditis my doctor said I needed surgery NOW like today or early tomorrow and my insurance STILL wouldn't approve it. Me and my doctor had to repeatedly call them all hours of that day to get them to approve it for the next day. I was yelling at the insurance saying that I waited 2 weeks for my tube and it got worse, I waited for the CT scan and it got worse, and now you want me to wait 2 weeks for the surgery for it to get worse into what...? Meningitis?! because that was the next step the infection would have taken.
UGH INSURANCE IN AMERICA IS TERRIBLE. :(
Even if the surgery wasn't completely successful they got cultures of the bacteria so they can give me antibiotics that it isn't resistant to :) Then it'll forsure be gone.
