Artists who are now ignoring check ins and notes requesting refunds.
I understand life happens.
But dont take my fking money and use it to buy yourself something-
Then never respond to me again.
If Im still in que, just say so.
But dont tell me im in que and take new projects and finish them first.
Im not the kind of person who complains or btches impatiently.
Its been several months.
If youre doing other work and still taking more-
and I still have no update/wip?
Its nasty and bad business.
Im going to post names this week.
But im going to give a day or two for these artists to respond to my inquiries first.
Im sending each of them another note with the response to payment receipt.
If by Wednesday I dont have responses, ARTIST-BEWARE is going to suddenly gain 10 more asshats.

They werent on BEWARE when I commissioned them.
I learned to check that religiously after Nuka and Nei.
I've actually had the same problem. Like literally paid...and gotten jack shit...and i'm just too tired to be bothered with the fuckery + drama because they were little things.
But for the prices you've paid I would definitely consider posting AB(s) if needed.
that usually DEFINITELY grabs peoples attention who are holding out.
Im really not good about this whole "shame them into submission" thing, but considering its been this long- and people who actually DO have other things keeping them busy manage to post my pieces in under a week or two-
Pretty sure im bein screwed by these others.
Rex is right- I can only file a dispute if its within a time frame-
And ive been "in que" bein put off twice a month for a few months now.
Its definitely something Ill be looking into this week.
All the journals that talk about payment up front because commissioners have screwed them and blah blah blah...
All I ask for is a check in, a response, a list of what youre working on-- ANYTHING to let me know you havent forgotten me.
How unprofessional.
