Yup, I'm in Dubai for 10 days. I arrived safe and sound and staying 13 hours in a plane is not something you wanna do for fun.
Of course here things are very different and at the same time very similar. There is no bacon, or ham or hotdogs, there is bo boose of anykind (exept for hotel bars and club) abd Coke try to imitate Pepsi by doing Sepsi (you know, when I say Pepsi is better, enven coke is agree XD )
now I got to go, I been up for more than 28hours in a row. I need sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

Hm. So you'll be on a pretty tight schedule for the move. Do you get any bonuses for having to go there, that might help financially for the move?
At least don't you ever see any tourists beeing stoned for not beeing peaceful muslims or foreign womans in black full body condoms with an observation slit.
And when the oil is depleted one day, they will be even more depended on the foreign tourism.
Do you work on one of those entertainment shows for that tower ?
I believe that they have some kind of complex , computer controled springfountain show and similar.
Just because there is no booze and sex in the arabian oil countries, that probably won't stop the smart one of sitting into airplane, travel over to a country with booze and bordelos and be back by the next day to be as innocent as before. ;p
Don't worry there is some alcohool here. In bar hotel, club and airport duty free. You can also buy from your local russian mafia representative ;)
