I'm running the 32-bit beta of Windows 7 right now under VMware with the following specs:
1 GB memory
24 GB hard drive space
2 cores from my quad core
And it's running it with no issues! It is extremely smooth. I don't get the Aero effects, because it's a virtual machine, and vm graphics tend to really suck. Now it's time to do the actual beta testing...

My computer has done this odd thing where it powers down without me even touching it, and then some minutes later it powers back up. Back into Windows, like nothing ever happened. Both of these events while I'm sitting some 10 feet away from it. Creepy.
