Hmmm, quite a bit of potential there. One might be a white wine called White Tower - seems like it might be a popular Cyrodillic wine. You could also have a rich and ashy red wine called Tears of Morrowind, made with grapes grown in Solstheim. (Not to everyone's taste of course, and it'd be depressing as hell to many Dunmer.) As for cheese, you could have a Khajiit cheese called the Elswyer Gold Vein, where the cheese has had a mild version of skooma added to it. (Given Khajiit views on life in general, it seemed apropos.) Nord types of cheese, by contrast, would be fairly no-nonsense and hardy, like the Fyrd March cheese, a rather weighty cheese made as a long-lasting ration cheese for troops on the march.

Those sound like good ideas?

I think there is already a White Tower drink, sold at the Bee and Barb in Riften. I don't think they have grapes from Solstheim in Skyrim...but they sure have alot of Ash Yams in the Dragonborn DLC. My first ideas were to try to come up with Deadric Prince and Divine based meads and wines that have heavily overpowered buffs if you let them age. Say, the Clavicus' Vile Brew or Hair of the Dog that gives you a little boost to health in exchange for a small expense of magic and stamina (he is the trickster after all) But if you let it age for a while on the maturing shelf it will give you a really big jolt to health. Things like that. Of course the Divine Wines would have less of a trade off, since, generally speaking they are not as irritating as the Deadra.

Otherwise good ideas though, the Dunmer one might work well for the Azura wine. So thank you.

it is part of a giant house mod I am working on. A giant horrible and exhausting overhaul of all player owned houses...ok, technically 2 mods, since I am doing a lore friendly and non-lore friendly version. One is almost done, except fixing a few banners and adding in the cheeses and wine. The other Is over half done, except for the large custom house i am building. I had that half done then screwed up and had to start over.

not bad at all...though I am trying to keep them somewhat lore friendly (HA HA, yeah, I kind of suck at that. This is actually part of a house mod that ads distilleries to the basement's of the Hearthfire houses as well as a buttload of other upgrades.
As such, I think that the first 2 would not be that good for this version, since when the game starts no one thinks dragons are still around. But I do like the last 2, and I think I will use the Jarl's Choice one. I had thought of Sanguine Wine (you know, the deadric prince sanguine, or by definition, the color of blood) it could be a specialty added by the Dawnguard DLC.

Thanks, and I am working on making recipes for some of those as well to be made at the Distillery in Severin Manor. But I want to come up with new ones, preferably based on the Divines and the Deadric Princes. I am also making up recipes for most of the vanilla mead and wines in the game, but I want to do something extra too...there are not that many in the original game. And most of them just do very little to make it work the time to craft.

Right now, I am working on ones based on the deadra and the divines. After that, I don't know. I just build distilleries in the basements of the Hearthfire Houses, And there were so few drinks in the actual game I just wanted to expand that...plus I got some great maturing scripts from Berts Hearthfire Dairygoods mod that I am putting in so I figured meh, mature alcohol as well. But I also have to have help with making labels and things as I suck at the arts portion, so I don't want to overdo it.

Also, trying to come up with new recipies that make sense for what you are doing can be a little daunting as well.

no worries. I only really have a couple that I have gotten suggestions for anyway, which was the Mad God 20/20 for Sheogorath, and the Blood of the Divine for Talos. So any suggestions you have would be appreciated. I have tried to come up with some, but I kind of suck at naming things.

Just wanna check: by "distilleries", do you mean something like actual alembics, or the stuff you find in the current meaderies? Beer, wine, and mead are not distilled. Spirits are - completely different processes.

I'm asking mostly because I'm trying to decide if I should be coming up with names for Spirits (Like Mad God 20/20), or beers (like, say, Dawnstar Pale Ale... my favorite from my earlier list)

Currently, they just look like the breweries from Honninbrew meadery.. I have only ever made blackberry wine myself, which did not need to be cooked. But if I had a bunch of the equipment sent up for actually making wine in the basement I think it would cause some confusion. Here is what they currently look like

Then we have a set of shelves with the maturing scripts that you put the bottle on the shelf and over a period of days it goes from weaker strength to stronger. I know it is not accurate, but it is what I have to work with. Plus I am still learning nifscope, so I can take bits and pieces of other things and put them together. But it has has kind of a big learning curve. Since I am also teaching myself to script and trying to learn blender...well, updates are being put out as often as I can.

Afterwards though I was thinking at some point of modifying the inns a little to put in cots for inn keepers and adjust their AI so they do sleep at night. The idea of a special brew for each inn would be possible by making a distillery at each inn that makes their special drink, and then adding bottles of it around the room.
