When I finally have the time to art, I don't have the motivation or ideas.
When I have the motivation to art, I don't have the time or ideas.
When I have the ideas for art, I don't have the motivation or time.
I know almost -exactly- how I want some of my characters to look now, but I'm terrified to put it on paper because I think my skills in art have declined significantly just in the fast few weeks...
I've also been trying to work on that griffon YCH; I've got all the the griffons colored, but I'm so embarrassed by how it looks so far I don't know if people will even like the end result when I finish. >.<

With your characters, I say just draw it anyway. Once you have the base drawing done, you can come back to it later and refine it when you're feeling better!
With the YCH... I feel it's the thought that counts, and that people will still appreciate the effort you put into it :>
I might end up just mostly doing sketchy stuff for a while, since that's easier for me to concentrate on + I usually mess stuff up with traditional coloring because I'm not very good at it.
At least the YCH was free. :T I'd feel REALLY bad if I charged for it, and then I didn't really like what I drew.
