Oculus Rift Vore. What would you like to see?
It's approaching the time when my Oculus Rift DK2 will be shipping, and I thought that maybe I should start considering what I should do with it. I'll be making a Rift-capable version of my lion vore POV for sure (in fact, I already have, but I can't test it yet!), but I'd also like to make something new as well, but WHAT!? :O
What would you stick your actual face into a Rift in order to stick your virtual face into? Byron? A snake? A scary huge macro? A semi-huge anthro? Of course I'm not promising that I'll do what you ask for, so please don't get your hopes up. I just want to see what sort of things people want to see. This sort of feedback will hopefully allow me to make something that most people will enjoy.
Edit: macro/micro vore may be an interesting thing to witness through VR. I may do that. This also allows for something like being fed to a pet snake after being shrunken. That could be neat as well.

I guess Byron from the perspective of a micro would be my vote, in that case. Or Ante, but that would be out of character... whatever you make will be wonderful, I'm sure!
Not that I'm ever going to buy an Oculus Rift, and I doubt anyone I know with one would appreciate me borrowing it, for... yeah.
Pretty much your usual work will be perfect for this sort of interface. I think the only thing that will make/break the immersion factor will be sound assets to couple your already smooth animations.
That said, there is ALWAYS room for improvement for anyone in this line of work, but those are just the things that come to mind immediately for me ^^
For the nomming goodness, you can't go wrong with snakes.
Or maybe something random like a giant macro squirrel that thinks everyone is an acorn. XD
Really the pred could be anything for micro vore. But personally I'd say a dragon.
I know before you say! Dragon vore is EVERYWHERE! But there is a reason for that.
Really, i imagine the internal view wouldn't change much between mosf different preds, but watching as a dragon tongue slides out and wraps around you, then slowly draws you in, yeah, that'd be an awesome sight to behold.
So that's my two pennies worth! =3
As for dragons, I haven't done anything with them yet, so maybe!
Although the disorientation is something you could actually play on :p done lightly of course. I imagine being shrunk down would mame your head spin =3
Ive tried the Rift out a little and I see what people mean. I find side stepping to be the worst, made me veeeeeeeery dizzy.
Could look down and see the wiggling gut, etc. Could be neat :D
(just an idea)
But mainly dergs. I like dragonz
I second the macro/shrinking idea - dragon or some kind of canine perhaps. The sense of scale on the rift is something you can't feel on the monitor, maybe have the macro character pick you up and hold you in front of their mouth for a while? I think there's a lot of potential for teasing/pre-vore before the act unlike the lion one you did before, but whatever you decide I'm sure it will be quality!
