Have you composed something that you would like to share with the group?? Remember, classical doesn't just mean music from the classical-era. All types of classical music are welcome here! This should keep me busy! So far I have only been able to listen to your latest piece, Eternities but it's easy to see the emotion in your work! Eternities has such a carefree feel to it - I envision friends/lovers running together, hand in hand, through grassy fields and down to the beach. Keep it up, my friend!

I heartily recommend my Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in F Sharp Minor. I've posted the first two movements so far.

So far I have only been able to listen to the first movement; this is some seriously complex work, Matthias! The piano transition around 2:10 really got my attention - I felt like Jordan Rudess had entered the room! Then again at around 4:25 with the timing change and the french horns, and the epic piano work at 5:20! I will comment on the other movements as soon as I can, but you should be incredibly proud of this my friend!!!

I am proud of this. I call it my Magnum Opus after all!

The first two links are actually the first and second half of the first movement. It's too long to post in one go on FA (over 17 minutes in length).

That second theme (4:25 and 5:20) is what inspired the entire piece as I extemporized it at the piano one day and thought, "Man, this sounds amazing!"

First time I've ever put anything of mine on FA, I'm a little worried that I could be IRL "outed" by someone who recognizes it, but hoping anyone who does has the courtesy to keep their discovery under wraps.

Brass quintet I'm particularly fond of, the blending ended up much more smooth than I'd originally intended. Description underneath in link.

I imagine the "physical brawl" between the two trumpets would have been quite entertaining on stage! It's too bad that the professor didn't see the originality in that idea, but nonetheless, a splendid piece that is quite impressive! I particularly enjoyed the transition after 4:10 when the lovers started to calm down and things returned to normal. Well done my friend!!
