So I wrote that last journal Wednesday, expecting a little more time with my Papaw. Unfortunately I was wrong, and shortly after 6 pm Thursday evening, he lost his battle with cancer.
I have not touched any owed art in a little over a week, and I've needed to keep myself distracted. I've been keeping active thanks to Danny, and it's helped greatly.
Though for those who have been waiting patiently, I thank you with everything I have. I will be more than willing to throw in an extra sketch sheet for those on my wait list as a thank you. I don't know how else to show my gratitude towards you guys. ;____;
In other news, the few old followers of mine know my OC, Namey... Well, her story started at my 7th year of age, from little doodles. I never named her, so she became Nameless (Namey). She's always looked the same... For fourteen years... It's time to change her, even minimally. First off, she has a name... Tadpole. My Papaw gave me that nickname when I was a toddler, and I think it would be a wonderful way to honor and remember a wonderful man... Calling my oldest and most beloved character Tadpole.
That's all I have to share with you all for now. Thank you again, and I'll be back to drawing ASAP. I really do love and appreciate you guys. <3
