why are you in the furry fandom?

so basicly, how did you find out, why did you join, and why did you stay?
i actualy found out about furries when looking up some pics of dragons on google, and i forgot how but it pulled up pics of them showing off if you know what i mean ;) and i clicked on one cause my interest was peaked, and ended up finding not this site but... e621...
after soom time on there, and realy liking some of the stuff, i followed one source link to here, but it was a whyle before i joined because i still didn't know what i was looking at! and actualy i still don't get what a furry is to tell the truth...
any way, getting my self enough ppressure to join i desided to pop on here as slendy, at the time i was a major slender man fan(and still am!!) and i wanted to see what reaction i would get from people. mixed results...
after some time here (not going in depth cause of things that are never going to be talked about EVER!) i stayed here because of the great people here! my friends other than kevin, and one girl irl (and no, not a girlfriend, i got friendzoned... *sigh* whatever!) i really like this fandom!
