Kay The Wandering Catturn website.
Hi.
I recently put a site together for my web comic, you can find it at the link. I will still be posting up Kay related things on this page but I wanted to create an website as tumblr's layout isn't best suited for an ongoing comic and I felt people who are new to the comic would have trouble starting to read it.
Anyway I just posted up the cover for chapter 5 and the first page all in colour, a main story will start to emerge in this chapter.
If you go take a look let me know what you think.

I rather like it, it's narrative is secretive and you don't waste time putting a lot of story in your comic, but tell little small stories almost exclusively by pictures. That's a good skill to have
The site is elegantly set up and it looks simple and attractive. I would like it if The transition between the chapters when using the viewer was smooth and I didn't have to go back to the chapters menu to select a different chapter. The line between the chapters is clear enough to allow for this without confusion, In my mind =)
Otherwise, a lot of very nice stuff =)
I will look into making the transition between chapters smoother. Do you think a button underneath the current chapter leading to the next chapter would help with a smoother transition?
Thanks for the feedback. : 3
I've already bookmarked the page, and AM GONNA STRICTLY JUDGE EVERYTHING YOU DO TO IT!!! >=D
But really, awesome work =)
The website isn't too clear on where you start to read the comic. It shows the poster image on the home page, but no way to direct yourself to the first page. You need to click the chapters link first to get the overview. I think it would be/(would have been) smart to take on a normal webcomic layout, with the home page displaying the current page of the comic, and having buttons to cycle back to previous pages or the first page of the comic, or perhaps just of the current chapter.
Now that I posted this I read that you're already having it in mind, so I guess you're well on your way :D
I get what you mean and I will give it some thought but I wanted to have a flashy main page. If more people mention this as a problem will definitely change it and put the latest page on the main page. There is a big link to the latest page underneath the poster though. Maybe if I put another link on the main page to to the first page, for new comers. think that would help?
