Evolution argument on Homosexuality.

MY THEME SONG! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBH4.....eature=related
Some believe that humans are more evolved than most creatures and think this is a good reason to get past the homophobia found in humans.
Yet one could also argue the point that humans should be past such base instincts as homosexuality that is found in nature with what could be said as "lesser beasts".
Thoughts?
Personally I think humans (of any sort) should be evolved enough to be above such things of sexual desire. (This is were I agree with Christianity with chasity or at least some restraint) Yet I expect to much from animals as humans are despite any evolution.

No one can argue that because its simply not true, no living thing that requires sex to reproduce or receives pleasure from sex will ever get past it. There are a few humans (and maybe other animals) that are asexual but its really rare and does NOT make them more evolved or better in anyway than anyone else.
People who know nothing about how evolution works (including you apparently) shouldn't be using it as an argument for anything.
To put it bluntly for you, People were wondering how intelligent (whatever word you wish) humans are compared to animals. As pro lgbt often bring up homosexuality is found in nature.
Evolved was the word they used so excuse me. Dick. As I stated for my thoughts that I think humans in this are hardly different than animals.
As far as what you can argue with, it does not matter. These arguments are based solely on opinion not logic.
We keep discovering animals are smarter than we thought, over and over. They only bring up that its found in nature because people say its unnatural. Of course everything that has or will exist in the universe is natural so its pointless to even bring up for either side.
No, evolution was the word you used "Personally I think humans (of any sort) should be evolved enough to be above such things of sexual desire.". Clearly you think humans are different from animals.
Arguments based on opinions are worthless no matter what, but especially when the opinion is factually wrong.
why i'm commenting at all is cause i'm tempted to make a pokemon joke
