I just got out of this situation myself. I'm employed, but that's only part of the solution. Sure, it's comforting to know where the next meal is coming from and to know that bills won't end up crushing you. However, I've had to discover the hard way that my identity has to come from somewhere other than my job (or from my unemployment). If you let your current situation define who you are (and that's easier to do than you think), it'll destroy your happiness and keep you cemented in place. I wish you the best in your journey.
