I need practice
I was cleaning my room when I found a big black bag with a bunch of old notebooks with drawings from 4 to 6 years ago, and I didn't know what to do with them.
I decided to check them out to see if there was some white pages I could save or to check if I could throw out any of them, since I used to just doodle things in them and never finish the drawing, and then later when I had randomly doodled half of the pages (wich meant that no matter where you opened the notebook you would find weird lines and floating eyes) I would buy a new one just because I liked to draw in freshly new paper.
However I realized that maybe that's why I got a lot better since then and why I haven't seen any progress for a long time, since I used to draw a lot (even though they were crappy, unfinished drawings) and now I rarely draw (usually only when I have an idea of what to draw, when I used to just draw whatever).
So, yeah, I've lost the habit of drawing and filling notebooks with doodles, which might help me more than trying to do a little "almost perfect" drawings, so I might start to do that again. On the bad side, I think I killed a lot of trees back then since some of the notebooks I found are almost empty, let's say, only like 15, 20% used. I guess I'll reuse them now.
Anyway, even though I had this kind of "revelation" (which should have been obvious to everyone but me), I still don't know what to do with all the used notebooks, since now I have around 20 notebooks full with bodies with no faces, crappy characters drawn only from the wraist up, floating eyes and heads, and maybe the ocasional almost-full-body drawing.

FA+

Just don't worry about the trees sometimes I take my used paper to recycling centers where I get... nothing in return but at least I feel like I'm doing the right thing (?).
By the way, good luck with the commissions I guess they will help you improve.
Y recuerda siempre creer en que puedes mejorar que es un buen comienzo para que lo hagas, te lo digo por experiencia.
