In a Rut.

I seriously haven't been drawing. I think I was stupid and burnt myself out with all the commissions I took at once, on top of family problems I've just been laying around feeling incredibly down and out of it…
I'm sorry I've been pretty quiet over here. I'd love it if you guys could give me some advice or ideas how to get motivated to draw again? Everything just feels really bland right now and I can't find any inspiration or motivation hnnngh.
I donno…post videos or your favorite music or something interesting if you feel like it >.</ I'm hoping after Con I'll get back to work on these things.
That's all, Chu Chu OUT!

There's not too much advice I can give aside from doing small doodles that don't mean much to you or you put much effort or thought in. Stuff you do'nt care that it may not look good at all. Eventuallyit kinda fixes itself.
The other trick that can help me is doing various studies, working on an art style or medium I haven't used. or a new art program. So you're focusing more on the technical study than the art itself.
Anyway I do hope you come out of it soon and there really is no pressure on my commission.
I got off of my computer, and took my sketchbook up to the rooftop, and was able to draw there. Changing the environment you work in can sort of reset your brain. :)

And maybe after, watch two animated films. If I had to recommend, one would be Fievel Goes West and the other Cats Don't Dance. By yourself or with someone. With ice cream.
Trust me, I'm right there with ya, Chu Chu. You're very talented, and will get out of this rut. You're too good not to!
Going for long walks in new places helps me forget about things and clear my mind
And in terms of music, I hope this cheers you up a little http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QlW9jnedoL8
I would say take some time off to do something you like; play games, draw for yourself, or just have fun loafing.
For motivation though, I'm not sure what to suggest there; doing art or fan art might help since that would be for yourself and for fun. Art trades may help if you wanted to see what other people could suggest; different characters or creatures could help move things along, but that is kind of a risk as well.
I dunno if I have much in the way of music or videos, but if you like odd listening, I can recommend Night Vale, that's a fun little podcast with some nice creepy humor: http://commonplacebooks.com/
This video, my professor showed me when I was feeling down http://youtu.be/-op-vJqNR_Y
I hope you feel better Chu Chu
You could also try new mediums! Like painting or sculpting. And of course another boring route to go is studying life. Drawing you pets, furniture, backyard, etc.
