I am aware of the irony of just posting my TL;DR pic...
So, about a couple weeks ago a certain string of events led me to start drawing again, and in this time I've started and have/will finished a TF comic, a full color ink to 90% of my ability, a fan art comic for a friend, several sketches of varying degrees of roughness. I don't know how long it will last, but right now I see no end in sight and will probably open up sketch commissions, like the ones I'll release periodically here on FA, probably for 25 bucks a piece. Join my streams, usually during mid-day till the night, 'murrica time.
While I don't care to get into my personal life, the last 4-5 years have been marked with a long streak of unfortunate experiences, some my fault and some not. A couple of weeks ago one such event brought me to the point of realization I need to start doing something with my artistic talents.
That being said, I want to ask you guys some questions about my artwork as of late and I would be delighted with your responses :3
-While it's actually 80% complete WIP, what are your thoughts on 'The Ottermator' or just me doing TF in general?
-I noticed that the population of FurAffinity has started to dwindle, and for good reason if you ask me. What are other channels to source my art? is twitter and tumblr really that important?
-Perhaps the most important question I've always been hesitant to ask: is my artwork, all of it, something you could show to people who aren't furries? which pics in my gallery would you guys pick out for them normies?
I feel like my artistic ability needs to begin blooming or maybe outsourcing into something soon or I feel that I am wasting my life. Part of me wants a little taste of the popufur experience just to see how much I won't want it if/when I get it. Part of me is drawing because if I don't I will slip back into alcoholism. Perhaps part of the reason I am drawing so much is because I honestly don't plan or even WANT to be in the furry fandom forever, and before I leave for good I want to contribute artwork and ideas to return the years of entertainment and ...sexytimes furry has given me.
With the exception of only a few, you guys are honestly wonderful people. If it wasn't for all the hardcore tentacle rape transformation porn, I would totally let you all meet my folks and have dinner.
