Looks like the DSi has a (rumored) release date. It should touch down in North America on April 4th at $179. So if you're interested in it... get in line. I'm still on the fence on it really. I guess the deciding fact will be if I have a job or not.

I'm after one, But I'll probably be waiting a little longer. Living in Australia and all. That said I think it's time I pre-order. (that's once I pay off my collectors editions of HOTD:Overkill and Street FIghter IV)

Looking at the collection of games out for the regular DS, having bought a DS myself, and seeing how hte DSi doesn't really offer much, I can't figure out what really makes it worth spending the money on one.

I've bought every past version of the Game Boy, at some point (except the Game Boy Light [Japan-only] and Micro) and both DS versions (original and Lite), but I really don't see a reason to buy the DSi, yet. Granted, if the system does well, then many developers might start releasing their games for the DSi instead of the original DS/DS Lite.

I have a Game Boy Light. It was great until the SP came out. Then it was a bit obsolete after that. Mine is the gold version. Cost $60 US. My mom thought I was crazy. She was like "Why do need another game boy when you already have one?" and I was like "This one.... IS BACKLIT OMGOMGOMG!!!!!" LOL. But I never did get a micro. I didn't see the point.

whoops I misspoke the Game Boy Light cost $160 US. My mom paid for $100 of it. Sorry about that. That's why she thought I was crazy and was involved in the purchase.

All I have is the original DS fatty, and after five years and games such as Disgaea DS its getting pretty worn out, so I will probably buy one, that is if I can get the money together.

If I have a job I might get it. I love my DS lite though. So unless the new games are really something to write home about I'll probably wait even if I do have a job.
