Rekindling the Spark.

This past 2 weeks leading up to AC had been occupied by finally making room in my life again for regular artwork. The two most recent pieces I'd posted are commissions for two of my dearest friends, 
Azurtrix and 
TheZackRabbit, and not only was getting them cranked out a breath of fresh air, but I have even more sketches I've done and will be posting soon that I'd whipped out in the same weeks, leading up to Anthrocon.
Even better, I was able to sit down, hang out, and relive art-jamming with the most excellent
Yawg. I'd hung out with him at MFM many yonks ago, and havent been able to see him for years. When he'd asked me to do him the honor of adding to his sketchbook, The Book of Moar Mon, I'd hesitated only because I didn't want to leave my boi, 
CaranthirLinwelin, waiting for me too long to do so. But he was supportive of me doing so, and when i'd sat down to crack out a good, wankable pic of Renamon... Hell, I even surprised myself. I'll be posting that image when it's fully inked, soon. :D
Further, I'd had the delight of hanging out with the absolutely amazing
Cebelius and 
Wyla with my whole room crew. She surprised the dickens outta me by whipping out a pic of my Esper fursona, at the same time I did her a gift art pic of Asta!
... After a weekend this good... I feel genuinely rekindled. So much so that not only have proven that I can and WANT to get back to regular art production, but I even want to hash out the details of my own porn comic, once I fill out a few practice pieces and the remaining commissions I owe.
Either way, I feel AMAZING. It's so good to be back! <3

And yis, we might have to, sooner than later; it IS basically Cara and I's anniversary, aside from good times with people we so rarely see, yourself heartilly included! :D
Getting your drawing groove back is awesome stuff! Art block damn well sucks - as does having no time to comfortably work - and it's really not one of those things you can just force yourself to do when you're not in the mood. Kudos to you! I'm looking forward to seeing more tasty Beo art. :D
And yes, very much so. Further, you spend enough time away from it, you almost forget how happy it makes you when you create. That was an unfortunate factor in it, as well. So once I finally broke myself out of my usual mode, it was just like stepping back out into the sunlight after living in a cave!
