AC recap & flickr account. Quotes and Commissions still open

Got back from my first year at AnthroCon on Monday morning around 1am. It was certainly an experience but it wasn't everything I was hoping it would be. It was amazing seeing the fireworks, meeting some new people and to see a happy friend get his fursuit partial. Best thing of all I got to spend it with my mate 
we first met at furfright but started seeing each other the week he came back from AC so on the 12th, it will have been one year :)
I honestly like furfright (now furpocolypse) better, maybe my 2nd year at AC will be better, it was a bit overwhelming with staying up so late and not getting enough to eat and rushing around to get places.
I wish I could have done and seen a lot more than I did. I got no new commissions cause I'm such a tiny business and only 3 of my suits were there so out of everyone else who is much better I didn't get much attention. Which im okay with.
I'm still exhausted but will try to upload pics in the next couple days
I also have a Flickr account now so all my con photos can be viewed there that aren't going to be uploaded here or on my FB. Username is Sora Husky.

I found out about AC and FurFright. The thought of over 5 thousand people just
scared me a little. But I could definitely handle only 1500, no problem. So I went
to FurFright instead. After such a small and comfortable convention, and being
accepted by so many strangers and feeling so welcome there, I thought I'd try
AnthroCon. But it's kinda like you just said, I have a fear that AC will still be too
big and much too overwhelming for me. I was almost prepared to do it this year,
but just couldn't find the time. I must admit, I'm a "little" happy that I didn't go.
I think one or two more cons will help me prepare my self mentally for the big AC.
As for Furpocalypse, I'm already booked all the way around and can't wait!!!
A few years ago, I did AnimeBoston, ComiconBoston and PaxBoston... But I was working for a guy who sells video games and he didn't let me
leave the table more than once a day, for no longer than 30-minutes. I made killer cash with him, but it was SOO not fun. The hell with that!
FurFright was my last ditch effort at a vacation from life. I tried NYC, Hawaii, California and Alaska, they all crashed and burned... HORRIBLY!
Guess what, if I took all three conventions and all those vacations that didn't happen, and squished them together into a giant one lump sum,
they STILL wouldn't have come close to all the fun I had at FurFright... All the people that I met there and became friends with... PRICELESS!

AC is pretty hectic but once you get the hang of it, it's nice. FF was nice, but being so small, it was more personal, whereas with AC being so large it can be overwhelming. To be honest aside from working the table, most of my convention is spent in the hotel room because i'm old. <_<;
It is super overwhelming and its like you're trying to be everywhere at once x_x
This year for me was a lot less stressful than the last. I was actually able to sleep and not stay up all
anxious about what was gunna happen the next day!
Anyway I'm impressed with how diligent you were with completing Zen's suit! It came out
amazing and I'm glad I got to see him receive it =)
I'm going to be so relieved to be at FF lol
