I hope it resolves too. You shouldnt be in the middle of it and you did the right thing by staying out. It sucks that these things happen..and circles of friends collapse and things get awkward for everyone..and the ones that cause it all are too blind by their own agenda to see how it effects everyone.

Pretty much my thoughts on the whole things as well. The public back and forth doesn't really serve much except to make those of in between really uncomfortable, and the "anonymous" callings outs are as thinly veiled as tissue paper. Thanks for putting your thoughts together.

It's a hard balance. Take it from someone who is friends with everyone they meet, belonging to no particular clique and rather roaming from group to group. It isn't always easy.

Even what you speak of now - this particular thing had scraped me a little. Being nice and unbiased helps but eventually someone you care about will ask how much someone has to hurt them before you say "enough". Again - being friends with everyone and not taking sided isn't easy and yet it's still my natural instinct so I applaude you for it <3

I read the whole LiveJournal post, and it reminds me immensely why we're friends. I've had a lot of death in my family due to a rare genetic disorder (thankfully I'm at ->0% risk).

You are a fortunate man, but please don't feel guilt for it.

I've no idea who "A" and "B" are, but my opinion is that each of their friendships with you should be unconditional against friendship with the other.
