I just noticed something while reminding a fellow fur that my name is "Triller" not "Thriller" ....
I pronounce the "Trill" part almost like "Chril" ... not "shrill", mind you, but the actual hard "ch" sound.... Triller... Chriller.... I guess almost Tchriller...... I wouldn't say it's a lisp, but it's definitely noticable to me now. I had to consciously pronounce the separate "trrr" sound at the beginning... I have to like hold my teeth apart to get it.
I do it with other tr- words, too.... try, trachia, triangle, tripod..... am I the only one who does this? Or is this my lazy american tongue saving me a few millimeters of movement to produce a similar sound?
