Worst. President. Ever.

22% final approval rating. Lowest rating ever in the 70 years they have been measuring such things.
Yeah, buddy. Maybe after Hurricaine Katrina you should have landed Air Force One in Baton Rouge. With a big banner on it: "Reconstruction Accomplished". That would have fixed everything.
Oh and a clue on those shoes? That guy wasn't trying to assassinate or injure you with them. He was telling you that you suck.
Have fun folding the back covers of the Mad Magazines together in your Presidential Library.
Now get the hell out of office and shut your whiney spoiled frat-boy word-hole the fuck up you fuck-up.
78% of us never want to hear another word from you.
Ever.

Other than that I will wait to see the results of his actions.

I decided a long time ago that anyone who fulfilled those qualities and ran for president would get my vote regardless of anything else.

But then I realized "when we moved here" probably referred to your house and not this country. Sounds like your father probably has a severe inability of being able to take responsibility for the consequences of his own actions.
I can't even imagine how that's connected.
But he was a whiney, uneducated buffoon and a total embarassment to be allegedly leading the country.
And look at what state he left USA in.
Friday 5 PM EST was the end of the federal workweek. Monday the 19th is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and that's a federal holiday. And Tuesday the 20th is the day Obama gets sworn in.
So, for all practical purposes, the Bush administration is over. There will be a lot of people in defense and policy positions still doing their jobs, but that's about it. Bush is, technically, gone.
And good riddance...
Obama will be waaaay better.
I prefer to express any of my violent views upon Bush as occurring in the Afterlife, where US Laws do not apply.
Always add "in the afterlife" or "in the videogame" after saying something like that...
What I meant is that someone who threw shoes at the President in the US would be locked up as an assassin.
U.S. CODE TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 41 > § 871
Threats against President and successors to the Presidency
(a) Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
(b) The terms “President-elect” and “Vice President-elect” as used in this section shall mean such persons as are the apparent successful candidates for the offices of President and Vice President, respectively, as ascertained from the results of the general elections held to determine the electors of President and Vice President in accordance with title 3, United States Code, sections 1 and 2. The phrase “other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President” as used in this section shall mean the person next in the order of succession to act as President in accordance with title 3, United States Code, sections 19 and 20.
Hopefully Democracy will be able to survive.
I was also just reading up on some of his executive orders..... the justice department wrote a few laws in 2007 that said the president doesn't need to follow their own executive orders, doesn't need to say when they're breaking them, and can't be overruled by the justice department.......
Gimme an "I"!
Gimme a "C"!
Gimme a "TATORSHIP"
What does it spell?
What do we have?
Yes, one can say that Big Businesses screwed things up, and they did, but he helped them along. We are in the mess we are in because he was an ineffective president who wanted to pony up to his cronies, the "Good Old Boy Network", something that happens all too much on Capitol Hill. Then we bail out those businesses?? Who is going to bail out my high mortgage??
I was listening to public radio when they were talking about the disaster he caused with the EPA. Basically, he sent a "wrecking crew" in to dismantle it from the inside out because Big Businesses wanted to destroy all the good works that the EPA has done and dig for oil in the Denali Alaskan Reserve. There was even a scientist who holed himself up (with all of his years of research work and papers) in the EPA cafeteria so they didn't destroy all his work!! My God, that sounds like "Farenheit 51!" He was waiting to hear from his lawyer what he should do. The US has almost constantly voted against any wildlife preservation in the United Nations. They felt it wasn't IMPORTANT. And WE are supposed to imitated as a "world leader?"
I have hopes that ANYONE could come into the office now and do a better job. As I was watching President-elect Obama picking his cabinet, I truly was impressed. I wish him well. It's going to take a LONG TIME just repairing the damage 4+ years have done.
I'll have to figure out how to do it in Flash now!
<laughs ass off>
That's definately true! But not a quality I'm looking for in any leader.
He was too innocent...of everything.
It's just that so many people complained about Bush. XP
But I think..at least for me...you hit exactly what it was about him - he was too innocent. Like he was shielded from the nasty realities of the world, and didn't want to hear about them.
At least they never put bombs in the Twin Towers. XD
But that last guy seemed to be a whole bundle of them!
I hope that monsieur Obama helps the US and clean the mess that Jr did x_X
