Sniping isn't supposed to be easy :P It's the most difficult thing you can do as soldier, afaik xD

However, using it with (a heavily modified version of) TrackingPoint and maybe a special armor piercing warhead would make for a pretty effective antimaterièl rifle x3

myeah i've noticed - as someone who usually goes in guns blazing, john woo style battlefield is far from the perfect shooter for me tbh - but screw it after the dicktease of black ops two where there was an added weapon in the first map pack only to make it seem like it was a trend they were going to perpetuate with the other map packs but didnt i finally said screw you cod - for the same price every mappack from bf has a couple of guns and equipment on top of their maps , not to mention new vehicles and such but i dont often stray from playing team deathmatch x3 - guess what i'm trying to say is you can say what you want about electronic arts but they're way more generous contentwise for the same price those nose-pickin cod activision wankers dare to ask for maps that take relatively less work to make - anyway this is turning into a rant

always could use some irl sniper pointers i can maybe apply on my bf4 tactics.. my biggest flaw is lack in estimation of bullet drop over wider distances in split-seconds i guess... i'm pretty adept in placing spawn points that'll take the opposing team a whole round to figure out tho *snickers*

I hate CoD anyway, not enough thinking.

And don't shoot at targets you don't know for sure you can hit, only shoot when you are likely to hit. So at first, try to shoot at closer ranges, then slowly work your way up to longer ranges.

i sorta figured~ i'd be happy as hell with a decent sniper like you in my squad in bf4 - without headset it's really a pain in the ass to get somewhat more tactical and i rarely get long range support when i breach enemy lines close range on my own x3

Give me a guy with a mortar as well and I'm happy :P
Or just let me be part of an artillery team, I'll spot targets and take out small groups of infantry >:3
I did like how BF4 added actual extreme range rifles, though I'd have preferred a .375 over a .408 :P

Besides, I'm apparently a better shot irl than in games, I'm not good at judging speed in what's essentially a 2D representation of a 3D environment. Though I have protected people in BF3 often enough, and tanks. They often just don't notice someone slapping C4 all over them xD

well , i'd gladly fight under your command (meaning you'd be great for taking the commander slot in bf4- you get to orchestrate air strikes, intel , squad commands , all that good stuff :U )

myeah.. despite my interest in firearms i've never been closer to any than owning a couple judge revolver sized shotgun shells a friend gave me :C
i have no clue what my ability with them would be - altho i'm more attracted to the gunslinger tricks/ holster fast draw stuff than marksmanship - i lack patience for perfect shots... :u *does a combat roll two feet in front one of those paper targets and pulls the trigger on his saiga12* *snickers*

I've done some airgun shooting, but I don't have a license, so I can't just buy a firearm. Maybe I should buy an airgun and see how far I can stretch it xD
