life is good... ain't it so?
That's me!
also My sis went off on vacation for two weeks and found a really big problem whit the person she stays with. Little evil things that come at night and suck your blood. YES BED BUGS. Turns out that the person she stays in has no reaction to the bug bites thus never knew there were bedbugs to start with. but its likely the place has a good bunch of the little blood suckers.
Now aside from cleaning and calling the Marines. I would like to know if ANY OF YOU. know of child friendly methods to get rid of these things. Or at least keep them at bay while she stays there.
ALSO BED BUGS ARE MAKING A COME BACK AND SOME OF YOU DEAR BLOOD FILLED READERS MIGHT HAVE THEM AND NOT KNOW IT CUZ YOUR BODY HAS NO REACTION TO THEM. SO ... BE SCARED!

The only sure fire way to rid your house of these pests is a treatment that costs an arm and a leg. This treatment heats your house to around 200 degrees and kills the bugs.
Thank you for sharing
the stronger the better and seal up every single hole and crack in the walls and the floor.
Make sure to do it during the day as they feed during the night.
Everything. They live in the walls and breed in there and this will trap them inside. In 50
days they will starve to death. Also wash everything that is made of cloth in the hottest
water possible.
and they poop on the sides. If they are in the mattress you will see black spots on the sides.
Take it outside and burn it.
Temperatures above 50 C (that's 122 F) will kill them.
Pest control professionals can also spray chemical insecticides (usually 2 treatments, 2 weeks apart), but sometimes they miss some of the bugs, or use too dilute a solution, so it doesn't always work. Wash all bedding and clothing in hot water; wrap mattress in plastic and seal it (they make mattress bags for this purpose); the bugs can live in the corrugations of corrugated cardboard, so be suspect of cardboard boxes and wrap them up in sealed plastic bags.
