My loves, I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 3B.
I start Chemo on Monday.
Soooo, in order to save myself from the breakdown of seeing my hair fall out, I'm cutting it all off, not to the point of baldness yet, I want to see how bad it is from a crop cut, but if it does start to come out in excess, I'll just be shaving it off and rocking a wig till I go into remission.
I am hoping the odds remain ever in my favor with this and I go into remission, on time, in 6th months. I'd rather not be in the small percent of those who don't make it.
I just got my port for my IV in today, I have to get my bone marrow biopsy done, and another PET scan to compare to the first one they did before my Neck Biopsy in which they pulled out three heavily enlarged lymph nodes for a frozen section testing, which is how we got the base diagnosis and staging at this point. The staging might be given a different point and type with the further testing, but for now, with X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans, they are assuming that far along.
In other news, I'mma start drawing a bit more often again. as you all probably know, chemo, all the medications they give you on the side, and cancer of any kind is kind of hindering to someone who normally stands all day. so I took a leave form school till I'm better, and amy eventually take a leave from work, arts my thing that keeps me happy and busy when I'm on my meds during the days and restless nights like tonight. You would not believe how sore my port area is form surgery today. I can barely move my left arm without a twing of pain. I look like igor with how I have to walk, sucks baaaaaaaa@@E$#@#$#@$@s. <3
Anyways, yeah. Love you all.
