Create your own lizard character! Pay me $35 and you can create whatever type of lizard you want! $20 and you can make it neon colored!

I'm kidding. I'm not actually doing that, but that is an actual thing that is going around on the site currently. I get people can pay money for whatever they want to support an artist, but to charge people to have a creature that you just came up with 5 minutes ago while not even drawing it yourself just screams to me pure, raw, unfiltered SCAM and might as well be a straight up donation.
People are however buying into it, and paying the 'artist' plenty of money for it. Kudos to the person who thought of it, I expect to see plenty more 'events' like this popping up in the near future.

I'd understand if someone had a description of a character THEY wanted, but what i don't get are the people who will just shell out all this money for someone else to make a character for them. It seems lazy. If it were a game, hell, i'd even say it was cheating...
That and "Adoptables". To adopt something usually means there is no money involved, you just take it into your care. Since when do people put a character they made on sale and call it an "adoptable"? XD
I never understood that idea either. Buying a copy of a character that everyone else has. Except, of course, your's is "unique" because it's colored green with red stripes Because NOBODY would EVER think of doing that... *casm of sars*
why do that when you can just use your own imagination?
