I assume you have written a program longer than 10K lines.

I thought I had, but looking back at the biggest one I remember keeping track of, only ~6k
That was 3 or 4 years ago. If I had the time or energy to implement some of the stuff I've scribbled into my notebooks, I could make that number look better though. ^_^
I had to drop my biggest project ever for time reasons a couple years ago.
In another year, I should have more freedom.
Here's hoping.

6K is twice as big as my previous biggest thing. My current is 12K though, and I will not work more on it as it became unmanageable.
Next one will reach 20K for sure and new knowledge helps to keep it manageable ^^

the old project was a distributed fractal exploration tool

newer one was to build a platform like SecondLife, but more open (a metaverse)

(yes, it sounds insane... But that's what made it fun and challenging.)

I assume that those slippers you've made are so damn comfortable, it's sad to have to take 'em off.

If you mean the big stuffed black ones, they're actually quite uncomfortable.
They're so big, they try to slide around on me.
And if my toes get against the hard denim where the seem from the sole folds over inside, it feels worse.
There's also the matter of the spray adhesive. Enough of it seeped through the inside fabric of one of the sole constructions that it makes your skin feel... not quite right, after wearing it for a while. Not exactly painful, just 'displeased'.

Still though, they have a nice spot in my floor.
First project and lessons learned.

They don't look uncomfortable at all, to be honest. Wow, it's hard to tell, but I guess all makes when you list it off like that.

Ah well, you do have a point in the end; it was a learning experience. And at least you can be proud of the way they look.
