So wow, it was a year since I wrote my last journal here. Where did the time go?

Recently I quit my IT Manager job. Nothing wrong with the job, but the big news is I'm now living in the USA, having got married to the most wonderful lady I know! Still adjusting to things, and impatiently awaiting most of my belongings. I sent a few boxes of clothes (thankfully as I've been here a month already) and brought my laptop with me of course, as internets = important!

So I'm now a New England fur instead of just plain old England.

Went to Anthrocon 2014, Ops staff as previous years. Awesomely my art made it into the convention book again (no matter how many times that happens it's still just as exciting). "Secret Societies" was a tough theme to work to, so I went with Knights Templar. 2015's viking theme is going to be fun to draw detailed armored valkyrie gals though.
Four of my eight pieces sold in the art show, which I'm sort of happy with. Though I sold all pieces last year, so I'm not sure where I stand; it seemed a lot of art had few to no bids this year so it will be interesting to read the actual sales report at the end.
Highlight had to be holding our wedding reception at the atrium space in the Courtyard; hardly anyone was there to begin with, somehow by the end we had a wandering acoustic guitar player, numerous people, and a live DJ!

I also seem to now be on the staff of DrawnCon, FurCon and MagFest, so..busy times ahead!

PS: I want my belongings. My art desk and drawing board are there. Not to mention all my art folios.
