-Bolgan Foxmoon caused more Damage than the years before!
Like every year, this years 3rd Foxmoon "celebration" tuned into a disaster again.
Like commonly known, Bolgan women use to go wild every night the Foxmoon, one of the
3 merran moons rise. while the ketoran were well prepared for the "storm" this night, none
of them noticed the females that had sneaked into the barracks. While the Ketoran and
Akiran guards sleeped deep and well, the bolgan "victims" of this attack fled in panic from the
lustful mob. The panic was that great, that the prior build defences against the "celebrants" were destroyed causing a mess in the whole western district of Tinora.
Thanks to the huge committment of general Tasios (Ketoran city guard 1st rank) the city was cleaned up again within a couple of
hours. With destroyed windows, doors, broken dishes, traumatized Bolgan males and the huge cleaning costs, Feron experts
called the latest foxxmoon celebration one of the "most disastrous and expensive events since the end of the turbine-wars"
First inquisitor Nephatary again mentioned the "Need to lock yourself in a room in a foxmoon night, if you
are a bolgan female to protect others of your kind" Nephatary also assured that she will still fight for a "sole exception rule" to
give bolgan females access to the bolgan drug Arca (aka "dreammeadow") in foxmoon nights.

∆ Okay, time for a new journal :3 ∆
As you may have noticed, i closed my commissions recently, because i want to focus on Merra from now on
(with its stories, wildlife, cities, characters, and, of course transformations and races)
I want to focus on gather everything and sum it up, proof it and make it work, to create a relieable merra
and not just some generic fantasy world. Its alot easier for me because commissions always mean big pressure
to me. I can also work in my own speed and can spend as much time as i want with my creations, what i think is one
of the biggest benefits for me personally.
I want Merra to be a cool world for RP, for this i want to make it as real as possible for you.
i got a little sloppy with my racesheets lately, but i will promise you: they will be back soon, and even better than before!
(yeah i made up new layouts, new art, and new species!)
Im still doing custom characters, but only a maximum of 2 each month so they are strictly limited
Another new Thing are the V.I.P sheets.
• V.I.P sheets are NOT race sheets (well, only if the character is a unique kind- or mixture of species)
• V.I.P characters can leave Merra whenever they want (we got spaceships over here ^^)
• V.I.P Chars can not be killed on merra (only when the owner wants it)
• V.I.P Chars are copyrighted by their owners, no one is allowed to draw them without the owner permission (myself also not)
•V.I.P Chars have to play after the rules of merra, if a character is causing too much damage on the planet or other VIP chars
he will be banned from merra
Sum up:
• My commissions are restricted to 2 slots per month starting with September 2014,
i will only do Single characters, VIP-sheets or (short) sequences.
• I will do no more comic commissions at this point, because they are very time consuming.
• I may offer adopt auctions once Merra has formed in a proper way, these characters will come with detailed background stories
and own personalities, (that can be altered of course)
•Plans for the future are pretty vague at this point, i really want to create at least a text-based adventure game and maybe use
Kickstarter for this.

As I am readily excited to see Merra become more and grow into a full and complete world, I support this choice completely.
First: what about cybernetics and implants? After all there is a lot of advanced technology present on merra, but so far I didn't saw a single example of enchanced character (and actually, if you agree, I could fix that by making a fanart).
Second: Since there is advanced technology present, why are humans still considered to be an inferior race? After all, after some point the user doesn't matter anymore, and the only thing that matters is the technology itself, and I believe that spaceships are way beyond that point.
Third: What's the story behind humans being present on Merra? So far I was assuming that Merra was discovered by the humans and that they gave the technology to Merrans. And since humans are being considered inferior, that raises another question - was Merra isolated by some kind of wildlife-preserve forces and was there some kind of a ban on exporting and taking weapon technology to Merra? That would actually explain question number two.
The "Valetu" found a devastated planet with very few humans and a huge radioactive contamination. Not only resistant against this radioactivity, but also able to neutralize it, the valetu started to clean the planet and made it their own. But not only the number of humans was low on merra, also all other animals were almost extinguished, so the Valetu decided to make use of their ability to mix genetic informations after they consumed them through their kisses.
The "results" became the first "real" merran races, different species mixed with human DNA. Not all humans were transformed, because the valetu decided they should use them as some kind of "resource", only around 50% was changed to fulfill different tasks in the new world order. Here the chronicles of merra start and the time before the valetu was forgotten as well as the great war that leaded to their fall 200 years after their arrival.
The new races had to re-discover the secrets of their "ancestors" but only very few are interested in technology at all. Today, around 3000 years after the fall of the valetu, the different races formed societies and big cities and try to live in peace. Some races discovered their human origin pretty early and saved them from further transformations, because they were pretty defenseless in their "new world"
The Nariok re-invented space travels and merra has some small colonies on its moon and very few other planets. There are enough secrets and conflicts on Merra itself so most of the other races concentrate on this (discovering ruins of the valetu, or even the older human structures).
There are also cybernetics, most of it invented by the nariok to make life easier. In the towns firearms are not allowed, outside everyone can use the weapon he/she wants, but fireweapons turned out pretty useless against most monsterraces or well protected races like feron or tizzian. Most merrans trust in the only laser technology they have: laser blades that are powered by a certain kind of energy stone.
Good part is, that all races have common (human) origin. That explains why they're so susceptible to TF and why it's so quick (but only by furry logic, when we disregard the law of conservation of the mass et cetera)

I do have one question though besides the mosquito and wasps. Are there other aerial creatures on Merra?
