I don't normally upload journals with stuff going on in my personal life, but I have to.

On the 28th of June, my mother had a stroke. It left her paralysed on the right side of her body and she couldn't talk. She spent a week in the hospital and then came home. My dad and my sisters looked after her and we had a nurse come by to help. She was doing well and made amazing progress.

My mother's condition deteriorated on Saturday the 19 of July, and she was admitted back to the hospital that Sunday. Yesterday morning, I got a call to say she passed on during the night. I'm not sure what the cause of death was, but it was probably a second stroke.
I'm beside myself with grief. The tears haven't stopped.
This loss is great and nothing can replace her. I do feel comforted though knowing that her suffering is no more. I do believe in God, and know that's she's with him now in Heaven. She's been reunited with her lost family.

One day, we'll be together again.

For now I shall mourn.

Commissions are closed. My PayPal will be defunct for a while... it was linked to her credit card which will be cancelled.

But if you really want to commission me, I'll make some sort of plan.
