I need to start saving money like crazy again because it just hit me that Furry Migration is in less than a month and a half and I STILL haven't gotten my registration!!! There's also the matter of actually being able to pay my share of the room fee, getting fur for Pixie, and of course, food money for during con... oh and lets not forget some extra money to throw at artists at con!!
~$45 for preregistration - DONE, REGISTERED TODAY!!
~$50-60 for my part of the room cost (I need to double check with Kyle about that) - Kyle's got the WHOLE cost of the room covered (because he's such a sweetie omfg)
~$150-175 for everything I need to make Pixie with
- OKAY SO GONNA BE MAKING VINNY WITH KYLE INSTEAD! As well as a "Frankensuit" with all leftover materials from his suit and mine~
~$20 food money during con/emergency money
~$50-200 extra (higher end is just hopes, not expectations)
I'm not really sure how I'm gonna be able to raise all of this in such a short amount of time??? I mean, I don't /need/ to have my Pixie suit before con, but I would prefer to! I have a job that I'll -most likely- be getting (Connections are nice) but I dunno how much I'll be working or if my goal is even sort of reachable before then...
I'll start posting up YCHs again soon, I just have some commissions I need to get out of the way first (I am such trash) but I also need to get a replacement SS card and it's super confusing and stressful going about doing that and I just //sigh//
I also am wayyyy nervous to go to such a small community based convention, as of yet, I've been way to nervous to go through with going to an MNFurs meet-up, I mean, I chat on the site and post on the forums, but that's pretty different than actually knowing people. I just, I dunno, I've only ever been to bigger conventions, ones where I just meld into the background and take pictures... I don't know how likely I'll be able to that at a smaller first year con.
I dunno, I'm kind of just really stressed right now and it's all manifesting itself in the worst ways.
