In Louisiana right now, dealing with the business of the funeral and family. My mom's a bit of a wreck.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up lately with people. I thought some of you might want to know about this though. He was and will always be a wonderful, compassionate man who taught me to love and to dance the dance of life with great gusto. A fireman and real-life hero, he will be sorely missed. Smart, loving, took care of his family.... and the world. Did special tours during Katrina, saving flood victims.... I could gush on.. and might sometime.

But for now, I'm helping my mom through the night and getting my own head straight.
Don't know when I'll check again, so thank you for any kind words during this trying time.
