Gotta love them noobs
Who will save me from low doorposts? Look, I don't mind newbies on Second Life, as long as I don't have to deal with them. I've been on SL for more than 7 years now and I'm glad I outgrew newbie status rather quickly.
Today I ran into a newbie that clearly had NO clue about social behavior (yes, weird hearing myself say that...). Poking my butt and elsewhere on my body within the first five minutes of me talking to you doesn't show you have much respect for me. It makes you look like a giant douche.
Talking lolcat also enhances that feeling. "2" is not a replacement for "to", neither is "u" for "you".
So after the initial poking I slapped the unfriendly sergal in the face, telling her (yay, another furry shemale...) that what she just did was very impolite. She whined to one of my friends, who was in the same sim, then whined to me as well, calling me a jerk (also not a good idea). I told her that if she kept going like that I'd slam the banhammer on her ass. Then she "accidentally" poked me and said it "oops, wrong window!"
BANNED.
Yeah. I like to stay away from noobs...
I'm not that judgemental (mostly), people have done worse things to me within the first 5 minutes of me talking to them, but at least they used proper english and attempted some decent roleplay.
