If you want to change your style, and you're not liking it, it means you just dont think what is coming out doesn't look good. well DUH! You're doing something brand new, of course its not the best, but if you keep doing it, you'll be awesome in no time at whatever style you choose! KAY?!

it is hard, a friend of mine is going through a similar hurdle artistically. The best thing I can suggest is just life drawing. Pay attention to proportions and lines of action before EVERYTHING else, and you'll be drawing non chibis in no time

I'm dealing with the same thing myself currently. I feel really inadequate and want to change, but that takes time and lots of dedication that I don't feel like I have.

But you just gotta stick with it. Some days you may not thing you're a good artist, but practice and dedication get you there! You just have to keep going because otherwise you're gonna look back and think, "man, where could I have been right now if I hadn't of given up?"

Point is, I feel you, and I'm working through it too. Hopefully both of us can get to a point we're happy with! :) I'll be rooting for you~

I love your art! Hopefully one day I will be able to commission you to draw my new dreamy. The others are right you just have to keep pushing. You may not see it over night but perhaps you should compare a piece you drew recently to one from several years ago. I bet you will see the progress.

I'm hating everything I draw lately, too. I can't even make new characters to cheer myself up, cause they all look stupid to me. I hope you pull through it asap, cause it sucks! ; ^; *huggles*
