Very interesting information about you. Is it true you fought in foreign wars?

OP
Yup. I served in the US Army for just over 7 years and was in Iraq twice, both times in Baghdad.

What do you think about the threat of ISIS terrorists in Iraq, about them threatening Iraqi Christans?

~underclocked
OP
It's a very tricky situation and it's sad to see ISIS is preying on anyone, really, regardless of their religious beliefs.

What do you think we should do with the situation going on in Iraq?

OP
Well, if we could appeal to the UN Security Council, I'm sure they would organize a force to help deal with ISIS, but the US is sending Special Forces units to help in an "advisory" means.

I feel like we should do more, to protect American Interests, protect Americans inside Iraq, and also protect people that are in danger of ISIS. And ISIS is not only fighting in Iraq, but also in Syria against Asad.

OP
It's why it's a global problem, not just an American problem. Sure, we have interests there, but that shouldn't be the only reason why we feel the need to protect the people of Iraq and Syria from terrorists. These are people who stole roughly $800 million worth of Iraqi Dinars from Mosul, making them extremely rich and an even bigger threat.

And could attack us. And to other more recent events, what do you think about Isreal in the Gaza Strip, and the evidence showing that Russia may have violated the 1987 treaty they signed with former US President Reagon, by testing and shooting missiles into Ukraine?

OP
I honestly feel like we're on the cusp of going to war in a serious way considering how Russia has been acting since the Olympics. The Gaza thing has been happening so many times over the last few years it's hard to really get any emotion over it.

I really don't want to see a Russo-American war. I really don't. And I truly do not see an and of fighting in Gaza, until Isreal destroy's all the weapons Hamas has and the tunnels inside Gaza.
