Wow do I feel really uncreative..

tipsI discovered 
sibyl. today and while I have never heard or seen of them before (and I'm sure she to myself), we have very similar character designs. Now I am NOT starting anything about character theft or whatever, I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but it makes me uncomfortable to a degree where I feel uncreative in my design of Kinani and wonder if I should change her up completely. I've always felt her markings to be a bit "incomplete", but I didn't know what I was missing, but now that I look at Sibyl, it makes me feel like I shouldn't have Kinani be how she is at all.. :/
I'm sure I'm just over reacting/thinking about it all. We have enough differences to be different, but my eyes see only the similarities and now I feel awkward about my whole design.. What should I do?
