Some internet browser help?

Alright. I'm getting sick of this. For the last few days, any image that opens up in my IE browser has looked like complete, pixilated garbage. I can't even tell if my stuff is uploading alright anymore.
Anybody have an idea why IE would suddenly start doing this, or do I need a new browser?

Was using IE a bit ago, but fucked up a bit.
I use Chrome myself.
And that says it all right there, Yay Chrome.
Select Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab | Restore Advanced Settings and then Reset.
See if resetting the settings to the default settings works. Next step is to see if it's a GPU issue by doing this:
Select Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab | check the option to use software rendering instead of GPU rendering (topmost option).
If that fixes the issue (might be a little slower) then try updating the display drivers.
I've used IE until version 7 or 8, after that I switched to Opera. But I'm still using the old classic Opera 12. Later versions are based on Chrome and I don't like that browser. But if I find a page that doesn't work correctly in Opera 12, I just use Firefox.
The thing is, do some research on the most used browsers today. Check their features, usability, interface, plugin support, security, privacy and choose the one that you find it suits your needs ;)
You could also get a portable version of the browser you chose to test it without messing with your current set up (I did that when the new Chrome based Opera was launched). Then if you like it, install the full version.
Check http://portableapps.com/apps/internet if you are interested ;D
Hope I was helpful ^^
I personally prefer Firefox because of its plugins but the new interface has thrown me for a loop. I would highly encourage you to try out the many suggested browsers including Firefox, chrome, and opera. I doubt you will go back to IE.
i used every web browser and ran into major problems that were different with each one..
however the most stable and surprisingly intuitive to use ones were Chrome and Opera, which now is exactly like Chrome.. Firefox is an option but it isnt exactly.. stable.
I'd like to recommend Iron. It's largely the same as Chrome but safer and not owned by Google.
IE is a curse if you ask me.
I personally am a Firefox user, since it has the ability to sync your account on multiple devices regardless of OS.... And I don't appreciate the idea that Google can control even MORE of my life than it already does without chrome.
I'd recommend switching to firefox; it sounds like a problem with the .jpg translation software, n which your only choices are to either repair it or reinstall IE.
Personally, I'd suggest Chrome if you are on Windows, and Firefox on any Linux or BSD variant.
When is the last time you ran any of your AV/Defrag/Cleaner applications? (Might as well do them all if they haven't been run in awhile, Yes I know defrag isn't going to cause the issue but w/e)
Do you have all your updates installed and rebooted for them to apply? (tl;dr 'Have you tried turning it off and back on again?')
Have you tried turning off all your plugins/addons (whatever MS calls the extra junk) to see if it runs fine without them? Another thing would be to try "Safe mode with networking" to see if it's a local program issue? (The AVG scenario)
If you'd like to venture for other browser and you have a 64-bit OS to get a bit more "power" out of your hardware, I have some suggestion:
For image browsing I recommend using Waterfox, which in essence is almost exact copy of Firefox but 64-bit, which allows the browser reach RAM-usage higher than 2-giagbytes in longer non-relaunching-sessions without crashing.
Yes Firefox have had huge memory-leak issues for a number of years now; it probably won't ever get fixed...
But it's also the only browser that allows using "Save Image"-addon, which is very useful for archivers such as myself; I tend to occasionally open more than 100-images just containing a single image and then I'll save all the "tabs" with the addon; very useful.
Other Firefox-variants I can suggest are Palemoon & Seamonkey.
Google Chrome I mainly use for "interactive"-media heavy work, which also includes writing essays on forums; I also like the rather dynamic dictionary / corrector. Google Chrome can handle slightly better any Google-sites (including Youtube).
There are some other internet browsers such as Avant, Maxthon, & Deepnet Explorer. But since I for one at least wasn't able to fund anything similar to "Save Images"-addon for those browser, I haven't gotten into & gathering more info about those browser; supposedly they are decent though.
Hopefully you'll find these experiences of mine somewhat helpful.
