Tablet Troubles
My bamboo tablet is starting to have some hella issues, and it's driving me up the wall, if I'm being completely honest. :T
It's starting to 'stick' when I use my stylus. That is to say, the cursor will somewhat stick in my drawing programs, and will move somewhere I don't want it do even after I've lifted it up. Which makes color selecting and canvas spinning frustrating in Sai. :/
Also means there's a lot of accidental zooming in in Sai as well, since the rotate and zoom functions for the canvas are so close together...
:| I desperately need a new tablet. But I can't really afford one. *sighs* I don't know what to do...
Especially since I want to get a Cintq 13HD. But I CERTAINLY CANNOT afford that price tag. 8|

If not, check out Huion brand tablets. They're 'offbrand', but I rather like them, and they work better than the Intuos3 I had for a while.
What's your price range?
I was looking into Huion tablets. And I'm minorly interested, but I'm more interested in stuff like the Cintq, than getting another basic drawing tablet. Though I suppose I could get another basic one for the time being. The only issue I have, is that the competitor for the bigger Cintq's has some bad ratings, in that pressure sensitivity doesn't work quite right. And... unfortunately, I rely a lot of pressure sensitivity.
Well that... and I don't want a huge Cintq. lol Too much space.
I miss my Intuos4. :/ A pity the pen completely busted from over use a couple of years back. And it was cheaper to get my current tablet than to order a pen.
I am currently using a Bamboo Create. But since it was mistreated by someone else in the past, it's been having issues. Now it's just getting worse. :|
I... don't have a price range at current, because I have no spare money unless I start charging things to credit cards, which I'd rather not. lol
I'd like something temporary, at least, until I can afford a Cintq 13HD. 8|
If you want something temporary, what I use personally is Huion 580. It was $45. 2048 levels of pressure, and the same report rate as Wacom Intuos models. The only thing that's different is a slightly weightier pen and the tablet surface has more of a texture, but personally I like that as it allows me to not accidentally make too swooping lines. More control.
They also have the 610, which has buttons and whatnots, but I don't personally like buttons as I use keyboard shortcuts and they just get in my way. The 580 is 8x10, the 610 is 10x6. On amazon, they run about that $45/50 range usually. Sometimes cheaper if used.
If you're really set on Wacom, eBay is your friend; you can pick up a used Intuos3 for like $100-200, which isn't awful - something cheaperish as far as Wacom goes until you get your Cintiq!
I may have to get a Huion in the mean time, though. I could figure out how to spare $45 - $60. But not $100 - $200.
I'm set on Wacom as far as the Cintq goes (especially since they seem to be the only one with a smaller sized draw on screen tablet).
But I'd be willing to try out other things when it comes to something in between. C:
I mean... either that or I can just suffer with my Bamboo. lol
