FA increases the sizes of my posted images..?

Does anyone else have this problem? I'll post an image at a decent 700x700 pixels, and FA will increase the size so it appears as if its 800x800, even though I've saved it to be slightly smaller 'cause it looks better that way.
...Is this just me? Can I adjust this somehow? I'm so confused how do I furaffinity :(

Maybe the recent downtime bungled it up? Try replacing the image file on the submission.

It's been doing this for at least a month now...? I don't remember when I noticed the difference.

Oh, then I'm not sure. Maybe its the file-type you are using? I think some get converted in the upload process.

There's a bug that bit FA a'while back and was abused to make OMGWTFBBQ-sized avatars, like... screen-filling ones, where it wasn't stripping out some headers that make things look larger than they are to the internal system that re-saves files to a fixed size. So it might be that bug, part deux, rearing it's head. :P

The only way to really "fix" it.. annoyingly, go back and EDIT your submission and reuploading the file again. That's what jerry ends up doing :p

I think its my browser. By default, FA seems super zoomed out with tiny text, so I guess somewhere I zoomed in because I am blind.. and thus zoomed in all the pics making me freak out thinking all my stuff was all mangled.
