Is it conceited that every time I take my clothes off I hear the 'Indiana Jones' theme song?
This weekend I got to go to Tampa Bay Comic Con with
roaringlion and 
kalahari . I think it's safe to say that we all had an absolute blast! :)In truth, we all agreed we would be more in our element at a furry con, but we still had lots of fun. Maybe next FWA Wes and I will repay the favor to Kalahari and drive up to see him.

It was a really fun weekend, and a very new experience for me! I don't have such a background in comic book geekiness, so I think you're right that there would be much more relevant stuff (artists, goodies) at a furry con, but the quality and variety of vendors, costumes, guests, etc. was a step above at that convention :) Very glad I made the trip!
