Man I think the easiest way would be to buy turquoise and stain it green? I have never seen that color sadly :C

I've tried dyeing fur before and it was just a mess... But if there was someone who was good at dyeing..... *Ponders* Anyone come to mind? I don't know anyone who dyes fur :P

For true dyeing... I wouldn't hold much hope. I've taken university dyeing courses and my partner/assistant has as well plus her mother works as a dyer and has been dyeing fabrics all her life. We've tried with fur and it's inconsistent and splotchy at best, and tends to mess up the texture no matter what.

That being said, "painting" it with an acrylic paint watered down bath is doable, but I'm not sure about the longevity of it, and I wouldn't want to do it for large portions either.

Oi... I wasn't too optimistic about the whole dyeing thing to begin with. And I'd hate to ruin so much fur because I'd have to make enough to give the client the option to upgrade to a full suit later or refurbish parts y'know? I'm just hoping to find that rare gem of a fut that someone out there might know of ;w;

This is actually what we've decided to use on the arms and legs for the darker green color~ We just need the lighter green now ;~;

Do you own a compressor and airbrush? Sometimes when I need a specific color I cant find I just have to make it by airbrushing fur with waterproof ink. It is a little time consuming, but it pays off in the end.

I just need so much of it though that'd I feel I'd have to charge well over what they're fursuit budget is :[

*nods* Understandable. You would be surprised though how far a bottle of ink goes though. Mayhaps something to consider for other projects :)
Try looking on etsy and ebay, sometimes you can get very nice shag fur from places like Japan and China in colors that are rare in the US and UK

They are actually who I have to get Furrettails's fur from and they have a bunch if weird wild furs.

I've got the same color problem with the commission I'm working on now (2-tone teal character)- there are a few UK fur companies that just discontinued some great teal fur and Beastcub found some in the LA fashion district (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13634181/) or use mendel's emerald?

Man, I wish I lived near LA if only fur the furs...

but I'm actually already using the emerald for the darker green on the hands and feet paws~

Have you tried the turquoise from fabric.com or same color at DF is aqua

It's slightly teal in person though mostly on the blue side of teal

I actually have a good deal of that color on hand but the commissioner wanted a mostly green fur with a hint of blue rather than the other way around~
