My parents don't care for my name choice. They think I can come up with a more original and creative name than Tory. I'M NOT REALLY SURE HOW TO REACT TO THIS. I kinda want to play around with some name ideas cause I mean how many people get to pick their name. (They also think it's a girl's name and if anything I should pick a more masculine name)
So yea....if you want to suggest some guy names feel free.
I also was kinda fancying the name Vincent. I really like victorian era names.

My birth middle is a very very girly name....
Also good news, the binder is not too small. I'm just a newb.... I wore it for -counts on fingers- between 7 and 8 hours. It's very comfortable and easy to breathe in EXCEPT for under my arms. I thought I'd be bleeding by the time I took it off. Nothing hurts even after wearing it for that long and it compresses so freaking well. I'm so happy you have no idea. I just need assistance getting it on and off is all

Thats great that our binder fits!! Ideally you should never wear it over 10 hours, it can cause liquid to build up in your lungs

I've always been in love with the name Tory cause I feel like it matches me but at the same time I kinda want to explore other name possibilities
I actually plan on ONLY wearing my binder when I'm out and about and when I have company over cause I hear that it can mess up the elasticity in your skin which is detrimental if you plan on getting top surgery
Oh good. Not really? It can but only if you are unsafe about it. It doesn't really mess up your skin.
You just have to go to a proper surgeon who knows what they are doing.
actually most of my friends who have gotten top had been binding and on T for over a year when they got top and both garramony and meltzer are able to do the top surgery perfectly.(i might have spelled those names wrong).
Basically, if you go to somebody who knows what they are doing then you are fine if you are properly binding.
If you use duct tape, saran wrap, ace bandage, or anything like that, then you start to run into problems with your skin. Mostly duct tape. but while a binder does give you stretch marks, most people have stretch marks there anyways and you end up getting rid of most of the skin that has stretch marks anyways.
I just know none of my friends who are big, have been on T and binding a while have never had stretch marks left. :P

I'm quebecer, so after jumping thru a lot of hoops I don't have to pay for the surgery, but I have to see the only surgeon the government assigns to. Her name's Dr. Belanger, in Montreal.
Idk then. I've never heard of bindind properly giving people that ma y stretch marks. Idk.
Still its completely paid for! I wish I could get mine completely paid for.
I'm extremely happy with it but it really is difficult to get on and off without help. My friend tried it on and she is a lot skinnier than me and she even struggled with it. Having one her size would have even made it harder I'm sure.

I had to use a too small binder for about a year because my parents didn't know i owned it and it was the worst :C I bought my new one just a little bigger than i needed so i wouldn't worry about it getting to small too quick.
But yeah, I like Vincent too.
Vincent sounds like a cool name, and so does Vex and Victor...
