Time to Say Goodbye

Some of you may already know that my boyfriend Maurick or 
GermanShepherd69 will be heading down to San Antonio, Texas for basic training in the air force. I've been spending this last month trying to spend every last moment I can with him. Now it is time for us to part ways for a little while and become stronger people.
Something about a goodbye, even if it is temporary is painful when it is for those you love. The resulting loneliness is my test to ensure that our love is enduring without him.
I'm taking up training of my own, that way in some small way I might feel closer to my mate. We will both come out better people in the end.
As for you babe, I'll miss the hell out of you, and I'll see you on the other side.

Back when I first had the chance to join the military I would have been kicked out because I was already fairly open. It is something I regret for sure, but it wasn't my fault in any way. At least my mate has the chance and is taking full charge of his duty.
