Apparently there is talk of seperating hiccup and toothless forever come the end of the third film. I can see why this would be a good go-to ending but I still think it would be a sad decision.
You can sign a petition which may help if you think this is a really bad move for the trilogy's conclusion -->

Just spreading the word because I very much like HTTYD. I was a bit dissapointed by the sequel but I have high hopes for the third and i'd like it to round things off nicely, atleast

hopefully they do change the ending but we'll never know until release.
