Dear older self:
I bet you're having a blast, being able to drive a car, not worry about your parents in your business or grounding you for something silly like getting a D in math. I bet it's the best, You can eat candy whenever you want and wouldn't have to eat real food or VEGGIES! YUCK!
I bet you're famous by now, you have to be. I know for a fact cause I've been drawing hard for you so you can go to art school, or maybe a music school. Remember we made a promise to practice everyday? I hope it's paid off!!
Mom and dad, keep telling me to stop worrying about growing up and enjoy my childhood, but they don't understand. They've never understood. It's not the same for them back when they were our age, times have changed and things are getting better! Right?
Any who, keep me updated. Oh wait, I'll find out soon enough.
Our Birthday is this month! What do you hope to get!? I really want that new art set.

Dear Younger self,
I always loved how enthusiastic you have been, you always want to grasp whatever you can and make the best out of it. You try so hard for your peers to notice you, something that would make them look at the big picture instead of just what appears. To think deeper than that because of the beautiful person you are.
I know you think life isn't that fun right now and yes, there may be a lot of rules but believe me, the jungle isn't so fun. It's not as perfect as you would think it would be. And veggies are delicious, you'll grow to love them.
Unfortunately, I'm not famous, I took a break for awhile, I feel like I've practically forgot how to do anything other than work, sleep, shower, and pay bills. Sometimes I have some spare time but I still don't make as beautiful of art as you.
You need to listen to mom and dad, they may seem rough on you but it's nothing like this world I'm in today. It's going to get harder and you're so strong but fragile. I beg you to listen to them. Enjoy your life, smile and laugh as much as you can. Keep your head held high and hands to the sky. Don't ever come down from that. You're the best and own it. Things do get better though, you have a beautiful life. You always have. But you're not ready to grow up just yet. You still have a lot of work to do.
Real life is so much harder, working is the adult version of 'School'; and I know you hated that. Your grades are just different; instead of subjects you've got shifts, manager's instead of principles or teachers, and little pets roaming around who may not like you and will talk as much bad as they can about you. You have great friends in the work area though...
Hold on to your child hood. I will keep you updated. You're gonna need a little help.
