It's happening to Many even me

It's absolutely stupid because I'm using my real name on it and have pictures of myself on it as well, I just had "HuntressWorgon" set to my middle name so that Furries would know who it was and it was even active since 2008! Clearly it isn't bloody fake, I sent them my drivers license so they'd better reactivate it.

They will it happened to my boyfriend he reactivated his but I didn't reactivate mine

I really hope they do, 6 years of photos, friends and messages are on that account.

If the first and last name on the account is the same as the first and last name on the driver's license they'll reopen it.

They are, just have to wait and see how long it takes.

These stupid corporations are becoming SOOOO concerned with privacy that it's hard for the real people to log back in if there's ONE small suspicion of someone else using their account, or a fake account, or anything.

It's not just Facebook. I know on Gmail I couldn't sign in from another computer because I'd changed my password (after they suspected someone else tried logging in). Because it was a different IP they had a bunch of BS questions asked that I wouldn't even know (ex when did you first sign up for gmail?!?!) O_O

My friend had her chase card voided because she moved from South to North Cal . . . and they suspected someone else was making transactions up here on her part -_-

Soon enough, all social network sites will require a social security number. Give it another 5, 10 years.

I didn't want to have to make a separate page because my sona isn't for roleplaying or anything, and being a Furry is a big part of my life, so to separate my real life self and my furry self wasn't an option for me.

I don't even understand why they have to be "real" in the first place. Like, maybe I want to be a different person online than I am in real life? Just because I want to look at my friend's baby pictures or see the calendar events for the local fur groups doesn't mean I want my real full name on the internet so those creepy fuckwads I went to highschool with can look me up.

It's just facebooks stupid rules, they want all facebook accounts to be for a proper real person (which mine is, they just fucked up since they are morons).

The only reason I can find for this is... so they can data collect and therefor market to us better? Joke's on them, I'm a sleeping dog* anyway.


*A really cute term for people who, if you advertize to them, get really pissed off and will not buy your product out of spite.
