One month in the city....

NEEDLE FELTING IS TITS MCGEE
And I'm finally getting used to how busy and loud it always is! Man, it's a far-cry from the quiet little suburbs I've always lived in before now.
I'm still working full-time at the pet-store, but now that I'm moved in and (for the most part) unpacked and settled in I'm getting more time for art. I've been working pretty much exclusively on small projects, for a few different reasons. I may not be making big dolls right now, but at least I'm working on something!
There is a very good chance that I will begin livestreaming my work for a few hours each day on Tuesdays starting in a couple weeks. Once Max goes back to school one of my days off during the week I'll have time completely alone, and that seems like the perfect time to stream! As we get closer, and as I figure out which streaming service to use, I'll keep you guys posted :)
The stress of the past year is finally starting to all melt away, and I finally feel like I'm moving in the right direction of my life!

haha, I know what you mean... I live in a small suburban town, with downtown 40min away by bus. sometimes I enjoy the busy city, watchign people and so on, and am again glad when I'm home in that sleepy hollow. :)

OP
People-watching is definitely one of my favorite parts of living in the city - and since we live right on a busy main-road it's pretty easy, and it seems like there's always something weird, confusing, and entertaining going on! It also makes me appreciate just how small and quiet my home-town is whenever I go to visit my parents ;)
